Prism Ping opens on a single field and a single button. Underneath sit the things ping apps usually leave out: a resolved address you can always see, per-reply rows with sequence, bytes, TTL and round-trip time, a console-style log, and statistics that tell you what your connection is really doing.

Prism Ping collects nothing and talks to no one on your behalf. The packets it sends are exactly what you typed: ICMP echo requests to your hosts, DNS lookups through your device's resolver, and TCP connection attempts for port checks. Favorites and history stay on your device. The one optional exception — the show-public-IP button — asks a public what-is-my-IP service only when you tap it.

It asks a public “what is my IP” service for the address your network presents to the internet. That is the only third-party request the app ever makes, and it happens only when you tap the button.
The app always shows the address a hostname resolved to, even when no replies come back. That tells you DNS worked and the problem is somewhere past it.
The interval goes down to 100 ms. Timeout, packet size, TTL, and count (or continuous) are all set with exact steppers and numeric fields.
