Prism Ping — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Prism Ping application for iPhone and iPad (the "App"), published by Prism Data Group. By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.

1. License

The App is free. It is licensed, not sold, to you for personal or business use on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms.

2. Acceptable use

Prism Ping is a diagnostic tool. Use it responsibly and only against networks and systems you own or have permission to test. Do not use the App to disrupt, overload, probe, or interfere with networks or hosts that are not yours — repeated pings, DNS lookups, or port checks against systems you are not authorized to test may violate those systems' terms of service, your network operator's policies, or applicable law. You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any consequences of that use.

3. Results and platform limits

Measurements depend on your device, your network, the hosts you test, and iOS itself, which limits background execution to roughly 30 seconds and may stop a session sooner than you intended. The App reports what it observes and records why a session stopped, but we make no guarantee that any result is complete or accurate, and you should not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision.

4. Your data

Favorites, history, and settings are stored only on your device, and you are responsible for backing them up. Deleting the App deletes them.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism Data Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including any loss of data or any consequence of network testing you perform.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
