Meeting Cutsheet — Privacy Policy
Last updated 24 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Prism Data Group ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Meeting Cutsheet application for iPhone (the "App"). Meeting Cutsheet is built so that your recordings and notes never leave your control: recording, transcription, and note-writing all happen on your device.
1. Information we collect
We collect no data from the App. The App contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no telemetry of any kind. We operate no servers for the App: your audio and the text produced from it are never sent to us or to any third party by the App.
2. Recording, transcription, and notes
Recording uses the microphone only after you grant permission and only while you have started a recording. Transcription uses Apple's on-device speech recognition, and the summary, outline, and to-do list are written by Apple Intelligence on the device or by the App's own on-device language processing. The App tells you which engine wrote each set of notes. No audio or text is uploaded for processing.
3. Data stored on your device
- Your recordings (audio files), their transcripts, and the generated notes.
- Your settings, such as whether iCloud Drive backup is on.
- A count of the recording minutes you have used in the current month and day, to apply your plan's allowance.
Recordings are visible in the Files app under Meeting Cutsheet. Everything above stays on your device and is removed when you delete a recording or the App.
4. iCloud Drive (optional)
If you turn on "Also save to iCloud Drive", the App copies each recording and its notes into a Meeting Cutsheet folder in your own iCloud Drive. That data is stored in your Apple account under Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to it. You can turn the option off at any time, and you can delete the files from iCloud Drive yourself.
5. Sharing and exporting
When you share notes or export a PDF, Word, or Markdown file, the App hands the content to the app you choose through the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is governed by that app. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
6. Subscriptions
Pro and Unlimited plans are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and we never see your payment details. The App checks your subscription status with the App Store on your device so it can apply the right recording allowance.
7. Permissions
The App asks for microphone access (to record) and speech recognition access (to transcribe on the device). You can change either at any time in Settings; without them the App cannot record or transcribe.
8. Support
If you contact support, we receive what you send us (your name, email address, and message) and use it only to help you. We do not add you to marketing lists.
9. Children's privacy
Meeting Cutsheet is a productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
10. Recording other people
Laws on recording conversations differ by place. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording others.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
