Prism Journal Everyday — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Prism Journal Everyday application for iPhone and iPad (the "App"), published by Prism Data Group. By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.

1. License

The App is licensed, not sold, to you for personal use on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms. The current version is free to download and contains no in-app purchases. Future versions may offer optional paid features or subscriptions; if so, their terms will be shown before you buy.

2. Your content

Everything you write, record or add to the App is yours. We claim no rights to it and, because it is stored only on your device, we have no access to it. You are responsible for the content you keep in the App and for complying with applicable law when you record other people or share exports.

3. Your data and backups

Your journal is stored only on your device, and you are responsible for backing it up (for example, with the App's backup feature or by exporting to Markdown or PDF). We have no copy and cannot restore data that is deleted or lost with the device or the App.

4. Not medical advice

Mood check-ins, prompts, templates and insights are tools for reflection. They are not medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

5. Transcription and other system features

Voice-note transcripts, place names and other results produced by system features are best-effort and may be inaccurate. Check them before relying on them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others, or attempt to interfere with its operation. Import only files you are entitled to use.

7. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism Data Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including any loss of data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Prism Data Group is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
