Prism Mail — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Prism Data Group ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Prism Mail application for iPhone (the "App"). Prism Mail is built so that we handle as close to nothing as possible: your mail flows directly between your device and Microsoft, and not through our servers.

1. Information we collect

We collect no data from the App. The App contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no telemetry of any kind. We operate no mail servers: the App communicates exclusively with Microsoft's services (Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Entra sign-in) over encrypted connections, and your messages, folders, and attachments move only between your device and Microsoft 365.

2. Sign-in

You sign in with your existing Microsoft 365 account through Microsoft's official sign-in system (MSAL). Your credentials are entered on Microsoft's own sign-in pages — the App does not receive your password. The sign-in tokens Microsoft issues are stored securely in the device Keychain and are removed when you sign out.

3. Data stored on your device

• Your signature text and its settings.
• Your account's display name and email address, for showing in the App.
• Sign-in tokens, in the device Keychain.

This data stays on your device, does not reach us, and is removed when you sign out or delete the App.

4. Your mail at Microsoft

Your mailbox itself lives in Microsoft 365 and is governed by Microsoft's privacy statement and, where applicable, your organization's own policies. Prism Mail reads and sends mail on your behalf only through the permissions you grant at sign-in, and you (or your administrator) can revoke those permissions at any time from your Microsoft account settings.

5. Outgoing messages

The free version of Prism Mail appends a short promotional line for Prism Mail below your signature on messages you send. This line is added on your device as part of composing the message — it does not involve any data collection or tracking.

6. Support

If you contact support, we receive what you send us (your name, email address, and message) and use it only to help you. We do not add you to marketing lists.

7. Children's privacy

Prism Mail is a productivity app for Microsoft 365 account holders and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
