Prism Meditate — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Prism Meditate application for iPhone (the "App"), published by Prism Data Group. By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms.

1. License

The App is licensed, not sold, to you for personal use on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms. If the App offers paid features or subscriptions, their terms and price will be shown before you buy.

2. Not medical advice

Prism Meditate offers guided relaxation, meditation, and sleep content for general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling, or in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

3. Practicing safely

Use the App only when and where it is safe to do so. Do not practice breath-holding exercises, or any session that asks you to close your eyes, while driving, operating machinery, or in or near water. Sessions that involve movement or stretching should stay within a range that is comfortable for your body — stop if anything hurts. If you are pregnant or have a cardiovascular, respiratory, or other medical condition, check with your doctor before using breathing exercises. Every session in the App is optional and can be stopped at any time.

4. Your data

Your session history and settings are stored only on your device. We have no copy and cannot restore data that is deleted or lost with the device or the App. Mindful minutes written to Apple Health are managed by iOS and remain under your control in the Health app.

5. Narration and system features

Narration uses Apple's text-to-speech voices installed on your device; voice availability and quality depend on your device and iOS settings and may change with iOS updates.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others, or attempt to interfere with its operation.

7. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism Data Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including any loss of data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Prism Data Group is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
